Website design is one of my passions. I love the challenge of designing a website that meets or exceeds my client's expectations.
My design philosophies:
"Clean code is key."
I'm very organized. I strive to make your website clean and focused.
Badly written, careless code will come back to haunt you.
I meticulously code by hand so I can maintain control and consistency, make changes quickly and efficiently,
assure there is no extraneous or sloppy code,
and enable your site to continue to perform as technology changes.
"Keep it simple."
I'm a minimalist; I use the right combination of web tools to create polished and
professional web pages. I believe that their are times when less is more. Your site should clearly convey the services you provide,
and a means to obtain those services. Potential clients should not be overwhelmed
with a busy mess that is difficult to navigate. Navigation, colors, readability, and a visually
pleasing design are essential.
"It's the little things in life."
Details are important. Broken links, blurry or distorted pictures, sloppy text, and misaligned components
scream amateur to a visitor.
A professional polished look depends on attention to those little details that make a big difference.
"One size fits none."
Cookie cutter web design packages produce one-size-fits-none sites that
often contain bloated code, and don't allow for individual style, and the
polished edge that makes your site stand out. I work closely with my clients
so I understand their business, their style, and their goals, and endeavor to
create a website that reflects those elements.
